"The King’s Man" is an epic spy movie that sets the stage for the "Kingsman" franchise, bringing audiences a thrilling origin story like no other. Set during World War I, this prequel follows Orlando Oxford, a pacifist who’s reluctantly pulled into the world of espionage when he’s recruited by the Allied forces to use his skills for the greater good. Working alongside a skilled US agent named Polly and his son Conrad, Oxford must stop a series of catastrophic events by taking down a cabal of villains led by the infamous Erik Jan Hanussen, a crazed mystic who has risen to fame by employing the services of the war’s worst elements. As the stakes get higher, Oxford must decide where his loyalties truly lie and ultimately create the foundation for what would become the legendary Kingsman spy agency.
