Twenty-five years after a series of brutal murders in Woodsboro, a new killer emerges, donning the infamous Ghostface mask. This fifth installment of the Scream franchise, directed by Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett, takes a fresh approach to the classic horror genre while maintaining its legacy.

In this chilling sequel, a new group of teenagers, including Sam Carpenter (Melissa Barrera) and Mindy Meeks-Martin (Jasmin Savoy Brown), find themselves being targeted by a masked killer who’s hell-bent on recreating the original Woodsboro murders. As the bodies pile up, the motives of the killer become increasingly unclear, leading Sam and her friends on a perilous journey to uncover the truth.

With a stellar cast, witty dialogue, and self-aware humor, Scream (2022) pays homage to its predecessors while introducing the franchise to a new generation of horror fans.
