As they travel to Italy for a friend’s 50th birthday, they drink up the exotic Italian scenery and unapologetically spill their deepest thoughts. But the true adventure starts when they find themselves in a series of unsuspected events on a picturesque getaway that changes their lives.

The movie’s premise involves friendships enduring despite harsh real-life tests. Finding a fresh angle in modern cinema can prove challenging, as we live in an era bursting with adaptations of existing works but the Book Club does what other major motion pictures can’t: proving women must have their say in Hollywood and always doing the unheard. Along the way, they find the perfect opportunity for self-love to resurface.

Diane Keaton steps up as a queen of Hollywood’s female cast in ‘The Book Club,’ also co-starring, yet again Jane Fonda, Candice Bergen and Mary Steenburgen, to rekindle ‘Book Club’ making use of on-screen, endless entertaining dialogues evoking the greatest romantic on-screen female friendship in cinematic history.
