In the heart-stopping action-thriller Animal, Academy Award winner Joel Edgerton takes on the role of a troubled, small-town Florida cop, struggling to come to terms with a traumatic event from his past. Shane Black directs this gritty ’80s throwback neo-noir with extreme efficiency, establishing a foreboding and visceral atmosphere that sets viewers for the cinematic ride.
